Three In The Trees Return Policy

At Three In The Trees, we work with Printful to create custom, print-on-demand products made just for you. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we strive to ensure every order meets your expectations. Below are the return policies, including relevant aspects of Printful’s and Shopify’s guidelines.


Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns under the following conditions:

1. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items (Printful Policy)

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, Printful will replace it free of charge or offer a full refund. Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order to initiate a claim.

  • What You Need to Do:

    • Email us at threeinthetrees@gmail.com with the subject line: “Return Request – [Order Number].”
    • Provide the following:
      • A clear photo of the item showing the defect or damage.
      • A description of the issue.
    • Once we submit the claim to Printful, they will review and process the replacement or refund.
  • Important Notes:

    • You typically do not need to return defective items. Printful will provide confirmation during the claim process.
    • This process is covered under Printful’s return and replacement policies for defective or misprinted items.

2. Buyer’s Remorse or Exchanges (Shopify Store Policy)

If you wish to return or exchange an item for reasons such as the wrong size or change of mind, we offer a 30-day return window. As these items are custom-made and fulfilled by Printful, returns for buyer’s remorse are handled directly by Three In The Trees.

  • Conditions for Buyer’s Remorse Returns:

    • Items must be unworn, unused, and in their original condition.
    • Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs.
    • Refunds will only be issued after the item is returned and inspected.
  • What You Need to Do:

    • Email us at threeinthetrees@gmail.com with the subject line: “Return Request – [Order Number].”
    • Include the reason for the return and whether you’d like a refund or exchange.
    • We will provide the return address (either our business address or Printful’s facility if applicable).
  • Important Notes:

    • Printful does not process returns for buyer’s remorse. We handle these requests based on Shopify's policies and our discretion.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

  • Customized or personalized items (Printful Policy).
  • Items purchased on final sale or marked as “non-refundable” (Shopify Store Policy).
  • Items that have been worn, washed, or damaged by the customer (Shopify Store Policy).

How to Initiate a Return

  2. Follow Instructions:
    We will provide specific return instructions and the appropriate return address (either Printful’s facility or our business address, depending on the return reason).
  3. Package the Item:
    Ensure the item is securely packaged to avoid damage during transit.

Refunds and Replacements

  • Damaged or Defective Items (Printful Policy):

    • Once we’ve reviewed your claim, we will submit it to Printful for resolution.
    • Printful typically ships replacements within 5 business days of claim approval or issues a refund directly to us.
    • We will notify you of the outcome and next steps.
  • Buyer’s Remorse (Shopify Store Policy):

    • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method after we’ve received and inspected the returned item.
    • Shipping fees for the original purchase are non-refundable.

Shipping Costs

  • Defective or Incorrect Items: Printful covers shipping costs for replacements in cases of defects or errors.
  • Buyer’s Remorse: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for non-defective returns.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure safe delivery.

Processing Time

  • Printful:
    • Claims for defective or damaged items are typically reviewed within 5 business days.
    • Replacements are shipped promptly upon approval.
  • Three In The Trees:
    • Refunds for buyer’s remorse are processed within 5–7 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
